Wow. A couple of interesting things have happened on this day in history. In the 1800’s stage coach robber, Black Bart (infamous for leaving poems where money once was), robbed one of his last stage coaches. In the 60’s a riot broke in detroit, and in the 80’s actor Vic Morrow and two child actors died in an accident during filming.

While I encourage you to learn more more about these events lets focus on some happy news.

Guns N’ Roses, the band that made its big popular breakthrough on July 23, 1988, when their first hit single, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” entered the Billboard Top 40.   www.history.com
