I dub thee, reach the highest branch day

My sons decided that the fact that the lowest branch is 12 feet up is of no concern. They are determined to reach their goal. I’m conflicted. It’s my job to teach them not to give up on their goals. (And tree climbing is good exercise.) but I also don’t want them to break themselves in the process.
It’s a good thing they problem solved a variety of different methods and came to a mutually agreed upon benchmark of accomplishment.
